Alpaca farm Carpe Diem

 

In 1990 we bought our first alpacas. A black male and a black female walked amongst  guanacos, nandoes, and deers in the pasture. When in 1991 our first alpaca cria was born, the alpaca definitely stole our hearts. It was a young black male and he lived happily with us until January 2009.

The past years we worked on the improvement of the quality of the herd by investing in alpacas with better genetics and woolquality.  We are still learning from very experienced alpacabreeders in New Zealand, Australia and other countries.

 

At present we have a very nice herd, are much more experienced with alpacas, and we attend alpaca shows frequently.  We hope with our website we can be in contact with many other alpacabreeders so we can share our knowledge and experience!

This was Durak. Our first born alpaca on 4th of  Augustus 1991.
